Attilio Contini, one of the winery’s founders, could never have imagined his name would have become synonymous with conviviality. The ancient Nieddera variety, which is now a sparkling wine, is the perfect meeting of opposites that cannot live without each other: the sun and the moon, fire and air, the land and the sea. Its bouquet is as subtle as a stolen kiss and as embracing as a refound kiss. Its pale pink colour is the colour of dawn over the sea, clear and unforgettable. Attilio Rosé adores aperitifs and prefers seafood. But it also gets on well with vegetables and meat, especially white meat.

Grape varieties: Local indigenous grapes.

Production area: Lower Tirso valley, Sinis peninsula

Altitude: A few metres above sea level.

Qualification: Specially selected Nieddera grapes were used to craft this elegant tank-fermented sparkling wine. On the fresh palate a refined continuous perlage underscores fresh red fruit and hints of flowers.

Aroma: This fragrant, elegant sparkling wine offers heady tones of pink flowers and fresh red fruit

Palate: Focused and vertical in the mouth, this sparkling wine delivers bright acidity combined with a remarkable saline edge.

Best served at: 4°-6° C.

Selenu is a Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG obtained from pure Vermentino grapes. The grapes are picked at first light in the morning, still wet from the dew of the night. This gives it a pleasant freshness on the palate and an intense, floral bouquet. Excellent with fish dishes, white meats and fresh soft cheeses.
