
THE COMPANY
A group of small producers, each with their own history and production experience, established the Cantine di Orgosolo company in 2007. Since then, they have selected the best Cannonau grapes from their vineyards to produce authentic, complex red wines with strong ties to the local tradition.
THE WINERY
Located at the entrance to the town, for those arriving from Nuoro, the winery was built with innovative techniques, materials, and equipment, making it highly functional and suitable for both production and welcoming guests who wish to taste its wines. Hand-picked grapes, harvested at different times, are brought to the winery in small crates. After an initial vineyard selection, they undergo further sorting before being gently destemmed and pressed. The pressed grapes are then transferred to 50 hl fermenters, where, after the addition of minimal amounts of metabisulfite (5 grams per quintal), fermentation begins with the help of native yeasts.
