    Another fantastic journey through arts, design, music and enogastronimy, a voyage between

    Sardinian traditions and innovations.

     

    A new "INSULA - Sardinia Quality World"eventsponsored by CIPNES institutionand  and

    Tourism, Crafts and Trades Department of Region Sardinia.

     
     

     

     

    Within the framework of the beautiful Club Hotel Baja Sardinia, Insula has set up

     numerous themed displays with the best enogastronomic, artistic, fashion and design

     productions of Sardinia.

    We portayed our beautiful land through the following themed actions:

    “The tourism and enogastronomic pathways” and “Sardinia: Arts and

    Design”

    It has been possible to enjoy the beautiful colors, lines and fabrics of various Sardinian Fashion houses, with dreamytextures recounting tradition and innovation.

     Giusi Musa, Sardinian Fashion Designer based in Sassari, created marveillous pieces with high attention on details

     Sonia Flauto, presented her outifits inspired by Sardinian costumes, with high quality of prints and embroideries.

     Marinella Staico, showed her charming creation, steeped of tradition and avant-garde.

     Corrado Giuspino showed to the audience of the events his unique Jewelry pieces which is an artisanal, nature andtradition inspired masterpiece.

    The Master Craftsman, with their beautiful creations, have impressed the people attending the INSULA event with their artistic exploration, showing their creations whom underlines the importance of the creative Sardinian heritage, with high level processed productions.

     Francesca Sanna, based in Sassari, has a strong passion for sculpture and pottery. Her productions it’s strongly inspired by the culture of our beautiful land.

     Valeria Masala – Deincantos it’s an artisanal workshop specialized in the carpet process; she is highly influenced by the beautiful Nule’s carpet, small village known for its textile products. Her goal is to keep the weaving techniques alive.

     Massimo Manca, surprised the audience with the magic of artisanal Knife, created in its beautiful workshop in Pattada, a haven where he forges fascinated flames, he works with ox horns, mutton and mouflon.

     La Corallina – Alghero, it’s an artisanal workshop specialized in the coral process, situated in the historical city center in Alghero – Sardinia; representing the landmark of the coral processing in Alghero.

    The audience, after been guided through the various fashion and crafts productions; tasted the rich flavors of Sardinian food and beverage productions, presented in INSULA – Selection menus and created fromSOMU – restaurant’s chefs (Star Michelin restaurant located within Club Hotel Baja Sardinia)

    It was possible to taste INSULA special cocktail selection which consist in a creative and refreshing reinterpretation of famous classic cocktails.

    Sardinian cocktails are a real concentrate of Sardinians' art and ability to rework even the simplest product in a wise union.

    INSULA cocktail selection consist in:

    Mojirto;A reinterpretation of the famous “Mojito”, using the unique Sardinian liqueur“Mirto”, made from Myrtle berries. This cocktail is composed by white mirto, which is produced from alcoholic infusion of leaf and berries.

    4 Mori (Sardinian Negroni); A reinterpretation of the popular italian cocktail “Negroni”, loved all over the world and highly recognizable by its dark orange shade amd unique taste. In this case, Gin, Vermouth and Bitter are absolutely made in Sardinia

     Strategic it's the partnership between Insula - territorial marketing division of C.I.P.N.E.S  and Maria Carta Foundation who took care of the event's entertainment,

    by selecting the Olbia's Folk Group, who performed typical traditional sardinian dances for the audience.
