    The new international stage for the presentation of the territorial marketing program took place in Paris

    "INSULA - Sardinia Quality World" - "Discovering a World called Sardinia",

    campaign promoted by the Regional Department for Tourism, Crafts and Commerce and by CIPNES,

    implementing body of the program, to promote the "Destination Sardinia"

    through identity and experiential itineraries according to a sustainable tourism model.

    Friday 18 March 2022, in conjunction with the international tourism fair "Salon Mondial du Tourisme",

    at the Hotel Splendide Royal Paris in the room of the Tosca Restaurant,

    cozy and elegant Italian restaurant in the heart of the Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris,

    the Councilor for Tourism of the Sardinia Region Gianni Chessa and the Head of the Agrifood and Territorial Marketing Division of Cipnes Massimo Masia,

    exhibited to a delegation of important Tour Operators and travel agencies, media and operators of French catering,

    the Insula - Sardinia Quality World territorial marketing program.

    Several reports highlight a constant trend towards migration from "tourism of places" to "tourism of experiences".

     

     

     

    Currently, for example, 49% of tourists consider the food and wine experience among the main selection drivers for their holiday destination.

    And it is precisely to respond to the demand for "experiential tourism" that the Department of Tourism, Commerce and Crafts of the Region of Sardinia and Cipnes,

    promote with the program "INSULA - Sardinia Quality World" - "Discovering a world called Sardinia"

    the development of a large promotional-experiential network aimed at supporting and promoting the emotional values and the uniqueness of the "Destination Sardinia",

    which is a land of longevity, quality of life and biodiversity; profound agri-food, wine and artistic production know-how;

    of millenary culture and ancient history to be told through the archaeological charm of the 7,000 Nuraghi, the enigma of the Giants' Tombs and the mysterious sculptures of the Giants of Mont'e Prama.

     

     

     

    During the evening this model of territorial promotion was presented, declined through identity paths and themes

    "The paths of food and wine tourism, art and design, music and traditions"

    offered to sector operators with cooking show activities, the presentation of music, traditional island clothes and the screening of films on Sardinia.
