PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

CHARACTERISTICS:

visually it takes on a straw yellow colour, released by the infusion of orange blossom and saffron. The nose perceives marked notes of juniper, violet, light lavender and citrus fruits; a fresh finish of mint, herbaceous, characterized by coriander and angelica. In the mouth it accentuates the herbaceous and tangy delicacy. The body, semi-sweet, is yielded by botanists such as dill, fennel, licorice and aniseed; the bitter notes from the maceration of juniper plants; a round finish thanks to angelica, both seeds and roots; a fresh finish of thyme, lemon balm, sage and mint.

AFTERTASTE:

Persistent bitterness given by the strength of absinthe and imperatory, but especially juniper.

PAIRINGS:

Dilute with tonic or mix it in Insula signature cocktail “Quattro Mori” with 3 cl of Gin Granito isola delle pietre Lucrezio R, 3 cl of Lucrezio R Trachite red vermouth and 3 cl of Lucrezio R bitter Bauxite.

SERVING TEMPERATURES:

8 - 10°C in a large goblet without stem.
