Sardinian rice

Apollo is a variety of aromatic rice characterized by the long grain. It is ideal for the preparation of risottos, all-in-one courses rice salads or side dishes. Its distinctive flavour makes it unique for the preparation of fish or meat dishes with a delicate taste. Precisely because of its particular aroma it can also be enjoyed boiled seasoned with olive oil and pecorino cheese.

Carnaroli rice is a superfine white rice for risotto, selected through conventional crossing techniques (non GMO), with the aim of obtaining a plant more resistant to diseases in order to be cultivated in a more environmentally friendly way. Carnaroli has a large and consistent grain, with lateral pearling, and is characterized by low glutinosity, it has excellent cooking properties and capacity to absorb seasonings. Carnaroli grains easily absorb aromas, they harmoniously blend with ingredients and are perfect for making high quality risottos typical of Italian cooking.
