Its distinctive flavour makes it unique for the preparation of fish or meat dishes with a delicate taste. Precisely because of its particular aroma it can also be enjoyed boiled seasoned with olive oil and pecorino cheese.
Carnaroli rice is ideal for preparing the most appetizing Italian-style risottos. Its large and consistent grains guarantee an exceptional cooking hold. The high amylose content allows the risotto to be creamed by adding a little extra fat. Also excellent for preparing soups, timbale and savoury pies.
Ermes rice is a rice with an elongated grain, aromatic with a natural red pericarp, deliberately created through natural crossing techniques, rich in Microelements Mineral, Calcium, Zinc, Magnesium, Selenium and Iron with a high content of Anthocyanins.
Ermes is a brown rice, therefore rich in fiber, vitamins, mineral salts and iron. Red anthocyanins, contained in the external part of the grain, have excellent antioxidant properties.
