Nella prima metà di ottobre si assiste ad una vendemmia favolosa in Sardegna, nell’Alto Campidano proprio all porte della Valle del fiume Tirso e Sinis: la cantina Contini si mobilita e raccoglie le uve Cannonau, per produrre un vino rosso fermo d’eccezione. Dopo la raccolta, segue la macerazione della durata di circa due settimane, per poi procedere all'affinamento doppio.

Vinified without maceration, it has citrus, iodine, brackish and herbal scents.The mouthfeel, savory, fresh and enveloping, shows character and elegance and closes with a pleasant finish with hints of dried fruit and mineral tones. The color is clear, bright and golden. The aroma has a good intensity and persistence, fine and elegant. It reaches its gustatory balance after some time from the pouring, when the roundness of the alcoholic component meets the evident acidity and the bitterish tendency, particularly evident in the initial phase.

Il “Maluentu” della Cantina Contini è un vino rosso di media struttura dal colore rubino con riflessi violacei prodotto con uve Nieddera, un vitigno autoctono di antichissime origini. Al naso emergono aromi floreali di rose rosse e sentori di marasca sotto spirito. Il palato è polposo con un tannino abbastanza evidente e chiare note di freschezza. Affina in acciaio.

Maisthràri è un Vermentino DOC, che rispecchia in pieno le caratteristiche che ti aspetteresti da un Vermentino coltivato e vinificato in Sardegna. Ma a queste caratteristiche si aggiunge una connotazione specifica del terroir, con il vento ed il mare che donano acidità e sapidità, ed il calcare che dona struttura. Il vino ideale per accompagnare un aperitivo o una cena a base di pesce.

Livanti è un vino unico. Nasce da un vitigno che esiste solo in Sardegna, e che è coltivato in pochissimi ettari in tutta l'isola. Questo vitigno non ha nessun legame genetico con nessun'altro vitigno esistente, un unicum che la Natura ha regalato alla Sardegna. Abbiamo fortemente voluto recuperare questa particolare varietà e ci siamo impegnati per valorizzarla al massimo. Il risultato è un vino sbalorditivo, che è diverso da qualsiasi altro Vino bianco in circolazione.

Sorso's Cannonau red wine INSULA SARDINIA

The color is bright straw yellow with citrine reflections. Intense and fragrant, it brings together the essences of Mediterranean gardens, orange blossom, rosemary, sage and elderberry. The iodized mineral notes are well combined with aromas of white and yellow pulp fruit. Vibrant in acidity, the taste is soft and lively, with an excellent alcoholic balance. Exceptional as an aperitif, it goes well with the specialties of Mediterranean cuisine. Excellent pairing with fish first courses, savory pies, salads and grilled vegetables. Recommended with medium-fat catch of the day, cooked or grilled. Excellent with fried foods and shellfish.

Carros is a Cannonau di Sardegna Classico Nepente di Oliena obtained from a careful selection of grapes from the Orbuddai vineyard, located at the foot of Mount Corrasi, the area of ​​choice for Cannonau. Hence this superb wine with a strong personality, with hints of myrtle and Mediterranean scrub. For its unmistakable and peculiar characteristics it is preferred to combine it with dishes and typical products of the island tradition. Appearance: Garnet red color with violet reflections. Bouquet: The nose expresses immediately the notes of pulpy red fruit typical of the Cannonau variety; in the final a spiciness of discrete amplitude and very fine tends to enhance the aromatic outfit of the product. Taste: Wine of notable acidity, rightly tannic, on the whole well balanced; the fruity and spicy notes reappear to complete the sensations perceived on the nose.

Intense red with violet reflections. Delicate and warm the aromas of ripe berries and cherries correlated with hints of violets and roses. The sip is soft and warm, supported by well integrated tannins that lead to a persistent finish. It goes well with risotto with forest mushrooms and pasta stuffed with tasty cheeses. Excellent with roasted red meats, game, braised meats and mature and tasty cheeses.

Pro Vois is a Cannonau di Sardegna Riserva DOC - Nepente di Oliena born from a selection of grapes from the oldest vineyards of the Puddu family in Oliena, located in the hills near Mount Corrasi. The nose offers hints of Mediterranean vegetation, notes of ripe fruit and fine spice, typical of the variety. These organoleptic characteristics, together with a great structure and softness, allow it to be combined with the most important dishes of typical Sardinian cuisine.

The work in the vineyard of this extremely elegant and fine wine is managed with a view to quality; the harvest is manual, slightly late to increase its structural potential. Aging completes the development of a wine to be kept for a long time but pleasant to drink, even when young. The vinification, respecting the characteristics of the terroir, takes place in thermoregulated cement tanks which, while maintaining the freshness of the fruit, facilitates its roundness.

Millant'anni has great extractive power. It is complex, elegant, velvety. It has a garnet red color with ruby reflections, enveloping aroma, warm and spicy bouquet. Millant'anni is a wine of extreme importance in the Sardinian wine scene. Exclusive and unrepeatable. Fully respects the integrity of the terroir. Excellent between meals.

Traessàle è un vino rosso che nasce da 3 vitigni autoctoni, Cannonau, Bovale e Cagnulari che matura in tonneau di rovere. E’ un vino identitario, che racconta le colline della Nurra e il suo calcare, il sole caldo di Agosto, il profumo intenso della macchia mediterranea.

Dark and dense wine with an intense color and a persistent nose. Notes of cassis, wild blackberries and Mediterranean scrub, the scent is rich with an explosion of smoked, black peppercorns and chinotto peel. Pairings: Great with cured meats and cheeses, first courses and roasted red meats. Also excellent as a meditation wine.
